Why YoYo?

We developed YoYo Method, a 13-step implementation methodology based on our know-how across the value chain, and experience of implementing reusable tableware at multiple locations. The YoYo Method comes from a holistic view and experience of the whole lifecycle of reusable tableware, from start of life (production, environmental impact) to end of life (how it’s used, washed, recycled). We offer our knowledge and co-execute implementation together with our clients. We preach and practise at the same time. We continuously learn and enhance the implementation service and available solutions. Our ambition is to provide implementation that makes our client confident about their zero-waste tableware choices!

Are you a consultancy?

We are experts in the field of implementing reusable tableware solutions for takeaway meals and drinks at closed loop environments. Since we provide a service, some could call us a consultancy. Although not a typical one, since we combine scientific data and practical experience. YoYo continuously co-implements with clients. We provide services in combination with the delivery of necessary products.

Does YoYo sell reusable tableware?

YoYo is not a re-seller of tableware. We have conducted extensive research about single-use as well as reusable materials, exploring their environmental impact, functionality and pricing. We test the usage and calculate the impact of every reusable tableware we recommend to our clients. For communication purposes, some organisations also choose to use YoYo branding on the reusable tableware.

What products do you deliver?

Together with our impelmentation service, we provide impact & evaluation reports, return stations, communication materials and return system tools. Some of these products are optional and depend on YoYo’s analysis and the catering operations process.

What is a YoYo return station made of?

It is a 3D printed return point, made of recycled plastic. It is not a regular bin, but a drop-off point, for reusables that will be reused again after return.
